Keith Reuter entered the swimming pool and spa industry in 1974 when he began servicing accounts for a local pool company. After working his way up to managing the service department, Keith stretched his wings and opened Keith Reuter’s Pool Services in 1977. Having been taught to have a strong work ethic by his father, Keith built his business on solid customer service, integrity, and honesty, while striving to provide excellent swimming pool and spa services.
For 33 years Keith constructed residential and public swimming pools, installed both redwood hot tubs and fiberglass spas, installed pool solar systems, and provided service and repairs for swimming pools and spas throughout Napa Valley and beyond. Always interested in new technologies within the industry, Keith installed energy efficient pumps and the first ORP/pH chemical control system in the Napa Valley in the 1980’s, both of which are now common equipment.
Keith grew Keith Reuter’s Pool Services to a very successful business with fifteen employees, performing residential pool service and repair, and specializing in the demanding branch of commercial pool and spa care. In 2010, desiring a less stressful life, Keith sold his company to his best friend and General Manager, who retained the business name Keith Reuter’s Pool Service.
Although retired, Keith remained active in the swimming pool and spa industry by not only continuing to follow education opportunities, but also by working as both a consultant and a part-time employee of the company that he sold. In 2016, during the process of selling and buying properties, Keith identified a need in the Napa Valley for quality timely swimming pool inspections. Combined with his wife Pamela’s mutual experience, work ethic and solid integrity, together they knew it was time to start a new business venture. Clear Viz Pool was born!
When Keith isn’t working, he enjoys traveling with his wife and business partner, Pamela. His hobbies include SCUBA diving, photography – both above and below water, and abalone diving on the California North Coast. Keith is known as “Ocean Papa” to his grandchildren, and spends as much time as possible with them.
Pamela has over 40 years of experience in business administration, accounting and finance, primarily in the wine industry. Most recently she was General Manager for a boutique family-owned Napa Valley winery, and she is now semi-retired. Pamela is an avid gardener and loves to cook and bake. She enjoys travel and SCUBA diving with Keith, preferably in warm tropical locations. She adores her pets, and she is a very proud mom & grandma.
